Kasey Freeman is an award-winning journalist and storyteller for Chattanooga's NBC station WRCB Eyewitness News. She was born in Huntsville, AL but grew up in Nashville, TN.
Kasey has always loved telling stories even as a young student. She would often write short stories and poems so her friends would be entertained at school.
As a firm believer in giving back to the community, Kasey would spend several hours serving to make a difference in the Nashville community for her peers. Now she has taken to journalism in order to continue to fight to uncover injustices.
The Kasey Freeman, the brand, was created by her friends and colleagues. Being the only journalist in her group of friends, they thought it was "fancy" to be on TV.
